Support Hamden Students! Donate to our 2026 Fundraising Campaign


We are working towards supplying sensory rooms within Hamden Public Schools. Sensory rooms are dedicated spaces with specialized equipment, in which caring professionals can guide students through movement and sensory experiences that meet their specific needs. These spaces help students learn strategies to regulate their emotions and energy, increasing concentration, participation, mental and physical calmness, and readiness to learn. Sensory rooms are particularly valuable for neurodiverse students, but all of Hamden’s students will benefit from these supportive educational spaces. Support Hamden SEPTA in providing resources for Hamden schools to construct sensory spaces.

This year we partnered with Spring Glen Elementary School to provide materials and equipment for a dedicated sensory room. We look forward to partnering with other Hamden Schools to help them meet the sensory needs of their students.
